From the start R-net/ICS has been designed to control and monitor a variety of functions and information. The system has wide expansion capability and almost unlimited potential. R-net/ICS uses advanced technology to link the user’s needs and intentions with the chair’s performance and capabilities. All electrical seat functions can be coordinated with the chair’s driving characteristics and programmed to suit individual needs.

In spite of all the advanced technology, R-net/ICS is incredibly user-friendly. High-resolution graphics and large screen icons guarantee confident control and accessibility. Driving and monitoring the chair and its functions will never be simpler or more natural. R-net/ICS is also the safest and most reliable control system we have developed. ESP and R-Net

When Enhanced Steering Performance (ESP) is installed on a wheelchair with R-Net drive electronics, the speed settings can easily be adjusted using On-Board Programming without having to remove the shroud or connect to a computer. Compact Joystick Advanced (CJA)Compact Joystick

The CJA offers a small, pediatric sized alternative to the standard R-Net Joystick.  This option also allows enhanced programming options and includes monojack ports as a standard configuration to allow the use of external switches.  Additionally, the CJA can be mounted in various positions to provide the best access for the user.  There is also a height adjustable pad which provides additional wrist and hand support for the user.

The Compact Joystick Advanced R-NET (CJA-RNET) is an input device and is coupled to the R-NET wheelchair electronics.It’s a proportional joystick module with an adjustable hand pad in a small housing.The joystick D50800 from PG Drive Technology is used.  It is a very reliable contactless joystick which meets the most rigid requirements and offer the following features:

  • Can be adjusted to any individual need and possibility of the user.  This can be done by adjusting the ‘Throw’ parameters of the R-NET system.
  • Will accept adaptive knobs available on the market as it has a standard shaft diameter.
  • Always equipped internally with an interface.  This way you can connect the module directly to the electronics of the wheel chair.
  • Protected against moisture, which makes it suitable to use outdoors.

 

VR-2

Driving an advanced power wheelchair will never be simpler and safer than with the new VR-2 control system*). The basic idea is quite simply “sit and drive”. The exact-position joystick gives the user maximum precision and feeling for the chair’s capabilities and driving characteristics. VR-2 is a highly reliable and robust control system developed for frequent and extended use. New VR-2 is characterized by the same user-friendliness and thorough-going quality considerations you have come to expect from Permobil. VR-2 is a technically advanced system without the many extra functions and programming facilities in R-net. But VR-2 is still able to handle simpler extra functions.
