LEBANON, Tenn. (September 19, 2006) – Permobil, Inc. today unveiled its latest innovation—the Rehab Seating System or RS—at Medtrade in Atlanta. The ultimate in modular seating systems, the RS is available on Permobil’s world-renowned C500 power base.
The RS offers a multitude of power seat functions that accommodate most, if not all, postures. The Intelligent Control System (ICS) lets users program up to three memory positions through the switch box and enables synchronized movement of the Vari-Smart Actuators. All of this allows for real-time positioning and eliminates the need for mechanical limit switches. Plus, the VerteFlex Back of the RS actually flexes and rotates to provide a custom fit, while the ErgoCentric Tilt and Recline feature provides 75° of full-motion tilt and a low sheer recline.
